Ear Acupuncture/NADA Protocol
Ear Acupuncture/NADA Protocol
Ear acupuncture, also called Auricular acupuncture, is a specialised form of acupuncture on the external surface of the ear. The aim of ear acupuncture is to reduce stress and anxiety and to help alleviate the sensations of withdrawal and craving, by releasing endorphins and other neurotransmitters such as serotonin. Ear acupuncture is particularly beneficial for people trying to stop drug or alcohol abuse. I personally use the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association treatment method, known as the NADA protocol, which is used around the world to help people in the process of detoxification from substance abuse as well as to help with the emotional, physical and psychological attributes involved in addictions.
